The Lahore Garment City Company was incorporated on 16th September 2004 under Section 42 of the Companies Ordinance, 1984 (now Companies Act 2017). It is an approved non-profit organization under Section 2(36) of the Income Tax Ordinance 2001.
LGCC is owned by the Federal Government of Pakistan and operates under the administrative control of the Ministry of Commerce (Textile Wing). Eligibility Criteria
Qualification & Experience
To apply for the Internal Audit Officer position, candidates must have:
- M.Com, MBA, B.Com, or an equivalent 14-year education degree
- PIPFA Fellow or SAS qualification is preferred
- At least 10 years of relevant experience in audit of Federal Government Departments, Autonomous Bodies, or Section 42 Companies
- Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in BPS-17 in the Department of the Auditor General of Pakistan
- OR experience in a Public Limited Company incorporated in SECP or a Public Sector Company under Section 42
- Must be well-versed with Government Audit, Financial Rules & Regulations, and Performance Measurements
Area of Expertise
Candidates should have hands-on experience in:
- Report Writing — including preparation of replies to Federal Government Audit Reports and Annual Audit Reports
- Compliance with Authority, Forensic Audit, Taxation System, and Public Finance
